Brief Answer:
Relevant options provided.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,

I understand your concern.

You possibly seem to have erectile dysfunction/ED.

This is caused by High blood pressure, history of TIA,BP controlling drugs(as their side effects).

To be honest its difficult to treat ED for your age and medical ailments.

Since many irreversible changes in your penile circulation might have taken place owing to the medical ailments mainly.

Drugs like Sildenafil,(which improve ED and sexual activity) cannot be directly prescribed to you.

The right dose and need for Sildenafil has to be accuratly assessed only after consulting your Cardiologist.He/She is the only expert who can make such decision.

Another drug is Intracavernosal Alprostadil. This drug can be injected directly into the Urethra. Its has good activity in ED.But once again should be decided by Cardiologist.

Weight reduction and planned exercise regimens will also help to improve ED.

Post your further queries if any.

Thank you.

For controlling B.P. I have been using Telmisartan with amlopin (Telvas AM) during last 6 months; B.P. is 120/80 now. Before that I took Bisoprolol (Concor 5). Due to some sudden stress my B.P. was increased and the doctor changed the medicine for B.P. on 7th Dec. 2014. After taking Telvas AM my feet found swelled and the doctor prescribed Dytor Plus 5 for that.

I have never suffered from impotency or any other sexual apathy throughout my life rather I was very much youthfulness and capable even before 6/7 months.

I can pin point the start time of my present ailment on discussion. And I afraid whether this problem is for some adverse effect of that Telvas AM. May I change over to Concor 5 again for contrklling B.P. ?

Brief Answer:
Such change is not advisable

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,

I understand your concern.

Let me tell you almost all BP controlling drugs cause impotence as their side effect.

Hence it is not wise to switch over to another class to avoid sexual dysfunction.

Even Biosprolol can cause sexual dysfunction.

Telvas AM is more superior to Concor 5 in controlling your blood pressure.

Hence such change is not advisable.

Post your further queries if any.

Thank you.
