Question : I had a colonoscopy three years ago, during which the doctor allowed the air pressure to become unneccesarily high, Subsequent to the exam, and soon afyerwards, I experinenced diminishing erection capabilities, to the point of complete ED..Can I reverse the condition ?

yes, you can reverse the condition . There are medicines, Intrapenile injections, Vacuum Erection Device and Penile Prosthesis . You doctor will assess and suggest what is best for you. but I think it may not be appropriate to relate your problem with colonoscopy. It could be a chance incident . The possible reasons could be your excessive worry , the indication of colonoscopy, vascular reason, hypogonadism ,drug induced etc. I suggest you should get fasting blood sugar, morning free testosterone level and vascular Doppler of scrotum to see the reason of ED.

I agree that ED can be caused by a variety of issues--as outlined in your response--but te fact that it occured so soon after the colonoscopy leads me to belive that it is more than coincidental; and priot to which, I had no ED problems whatsoever. Would a urologist be a better choice ?
