                                            Question : Dear Dr XXXXXXX
Thank you very much for your kindness and caring. My condition is unfortunately still unchanged. I am unable to have an erection. It seems that both the prepuce and especially the glans are by now even more desensitised. Before the operation just by pulling back my foreskin once or twice resulted an erection. Now nothing happens even if I do it many times. I hardly feel anything. The glans is almost completely numb. Now 8 weeks have passed since the operation. I really miss the frenulum and its rigid structure which was sensitive even when my penis was flaccid, therefore giving it the initial trigger for erection at almost any condition. As you suggested I shall remain hopeful, that soon I will recover, however nothing has improved so far.
Thank you very much again for your support and help.

                                    Brief Answer:
You have problem of Erectile Dysfunction.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing again.
Basically you have problem of Erectile Dysfunction .
Since your foreskin is intact only removing the frenulum will never desensitize the glans and foreskin which are also main contributors in having a sense of pleasure during sex .
As such no nerves are cut during the surgery of Frenuloplasty,
Your problems of not getting erection and pleasure of sex are mind related and due to extreme anxiety .
You need to consult qualified Psychiatrist for counselling .
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

                                    Dear Dr XXXXXXX
Thank you very much for your suggestion.
Before the surgery I had never experienced erectile dysfunction. However the surgery resulted by now loosing 99% of the sensitivity in my frenular XXXXXXX which was clearly the source for me of all pleasurable feeling associated with any sexual actvity. How is it possible to loose so much sensation without cutting any nerves? Based on your experience the remening 1 % sensitivity of my penis would ever be enough to trigger an erection? As you kindly suggested I will certainly consult with a qualified psychiatrist, however I wonder how he or she could retrain my mind to translate 1% of the formerely received sensation As equal to it (100%). Is it really possible? Have you had any similar cases in the past in your practis?
Thank you,
XXXXXXX
