Suggest Treatment For Extra-systolic Arrhythmia

Question: Hi!
I feel the need to dwell on my concerns for a little longer, although it seems that any answers may be hard to come by. The last few days have been quite calm, not alot of palpitations or pains, only slight pain in the heart on awakening. However today has been not too good. My heart is behaving rather bad, with lots of flutters and sharp, sudden pains.
Although every test comes out fine, this is not a normal health condition for me, and I cannot ignore the symptoms, though I try very hard. Any ideas to what might affect the heart in this manner, even if it doesn't indicate heart attack risk?
I am definately not under any stress or strain at the moment, but this worry keeps raising its ugly head.
Regards
Brief Answer:
Extrasystolic arrhythmia - not so serious...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your queries and understood your concerns.
From your description, it seems to be extra-systolic arrhythmia to me. It is great that the tests resulted normal, with no problem. Although not serious, they will give problems like palpitations and discomfort.
I suggest to :
- avoid coffee/energetic/carbonated drinks
- try to cope with stress
- start using Valerian
- discuss with cardiologist to use beta-blocker to reduce the symptoms.
Hope it answered to your queries! Let me know if you have more questions!
