Question : I was up all night with extreme neck pain on the right side of my neck

I have studied your case.
Due to compression of cervical nerve root there can be pain in your neck.
I will advise you to MRI cervical spine for better diagnosis.

It can be due to various causes like due to facet arthritis, degenerative, due to chronic systemic disease like diabetes or hypothyroidism.

For these symptoms analgesic and neurotropic medication like gabapentin or nortryptilin can be started consulting your doctor.
Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.
