Suggest Treatment For Eye Floaters Post A Cataract Surgery
Question: I have horizontal lines on left eye bends up at the end. The Dr injected my eye and now I see a ring whith black border when I look down. I had catarac surgury two month ago and a lasser beam for glaucoma . what can I spect ?? I see objects wider than the are. Resolution and colors are gook

which eye was operated for cataracwhatisthediabetic status. presently visual status specially left eye. it is presumed that phacoimulsification was done an iol insertedry and after surgery fundus examinationmust have been done.good thing is color vision and resolution is good but in operated eye accommodation is lost and there is an anisometropia since other eye is without iol. what is the visual status of right-eye and cataract in right eye. injection might be steroid for tear and peripheral detachment.what type may send detail report. trabe culectomy might have been donewhat was the field status and fundus examination report give cup disc ratio of before surgery.refraction should be done and after so much of problem if you have got manageable vision it is encouraging. what ever you have got should be maintained. resolution and color vision is good means rods and cones are intact and macula is not involved, can consult retinasurgeon and surgeon who operated for left eye. take his view please provide detail of examination report available with you.

I went to the Dr (retinologist) he think the ring is made by my brain (ilusion ?) The ring shows when I look down and left. The ring is well defined, black with a white inner edge and transparent center area.He blame the macula degeneration for the distoted vision and floaters. I don't think the ring is an ilusion. Resolution and colors are good. Should I seek a 2 opinion ??
