Question: My left eye ball (muscles) flutters. not the eyelid! This eye has mac. degen.

enough to frequently close left eye using right only. less of a problem with close-up viewing as in reading.
Sight in left eye distorted as a result of Macular Degeneration although follow-up examinations this past year and a half actually slightly improving according to retina specialist.
no surgical procedure other than receiving an injection in that eye when first diagnose

I have to know what injection was given to that eye,was it boutox in the lid or eye brow or inside the eye i.e.intravitreal.
My approach will be to have aconservative approach to start with ,multivitamins and lubricating eye drops and if this doesn't help then have boutox injection which will relieve the problem for approximately 6 months.

Inside the eye and I assume intravitreal. all follow up appointments, the last one 6 months ago, the Doctor was pleased with the progress indicating a reduction in the size of the problem and does not require another injection.
