                                    Brief Answer:
angioedema has nothing to do with nose bleeds.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to healthcaremagic,
angioedema is not known to cause nose bleeds.
Please give me some more details regarding his condition so that I can evaluate better.
1) Is there any nasal stuffiness, excessive sneezing, running nose ? Has he been suffering from a cold ?
2) Has he been picking his nose or rubbing it vigorously to relieve itching ?
3) How much bleeding is there ?
4) Was it only one episode or is the bleeding continuous ?
5) List of all the medicines he is taking currently including the ones he was given yesterday for angioedema.
Awaiting your response,

                                    Brief Answer:
not to worry
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Infections of the nose, trauma to the nose by picking and rubbing are the commonest causes of bleeding from the nose.
His medicines are not to be blamed.
Since the bleeding was minimal and it stopped on its own, do not worry about it.
Please instill saline nose drops, 10 drops 4 times daily for 5 days. Avoid nose picking, blowing and rubbing.
Maintain hydration and avoid air conditioning.
Regards,
Dr Rajksihori Godhi MS ENT.
