Question : Hello. I am 70 years old and am a cardiac patient for the last 15 years.for the last 4 months have been suffering from diarrhoea. Just recently got my blood checked and found my cholesterol level at 77 and haemoglobin at 12.4 which are below normal range. Also got a cea test done for which the result was 7.4. Recently I feel very weak and fatigued all the time. I was advised to do a ct abdomen. I will attach the result for your kind reference. Can you please advice me as to the next step. Do I need colonoscopy.

Brief Answer:
Colonoscopy would be the next step

Detailed Answer:
hello,
I have gone through the reports you are provided
Your CT scan does not show any significant abnormalities. I would suggest that the next step would be a Colonoscopy -as your symptoms are of recent onset since the past 4 months which have not resolved with medications.
hope this helps
