Suggest Treatment For Fatigue And Severe Chest Pain

default
Posted on Wed, 22 Feb 2017
Question: I recently am experiencing some serious discomfort in my heart, including fatigue, some chest pain which seriously worsens after physical activity. It seems to be getting progressively worse in the last three-six months. A year ago my heart was fine. A year and 8 months ago I started a testosterone treatment including once a week testosterone shots. Unfortunately, I was laid off work about the same time the testosterone treatment started. This led to an increase in stress which led to me consuming large amounts of caffeine/ energy drinks (as I am very sensitive to caffeine), in addition to overeating and and some alcohol abuse. I would like to know more about the science of the heart, specifically as to whether the heart can regenerate through proper nutritious care and abstaining from unhealthy lifestyles, or is this a permanent condition.

Brief Answer:
You will feel much more better with lifestyle changes

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Most probably your complaints are the result of your lifestyle and stress.
It is very good that you are going to start organic diet, meanwhile try to regulate you working hours, rest and sleeping time. Be much in fresh air, avoid nicotine, energetic drinks, caffeine and alcohol. Exercise much.
You will start to feel better gradually.

Take care

I am not satisfied with the answer. I am not interested in probabilities. Anyone can formulate an answer of this caliber. I would like a more in depth discussion. I am really interested in the science of the heart, how it works, and finding ways to reverse heart disease.

Please, find the detailed answer below

Detailed Answer:
If you want to know more in deep about the physics of the heart, I would like to start from sympathetic and parasympathetic systems, they are autonomic nervous systems, which regulates heart function, the force of contractility and heart rate.
In resting condition parasympathetic system is activated, so one has lower heart rate, lower blood pressure and cardiac output, as in resting condition organism needs less energy, so needs less blood supply. When there is a need for more energy and blood, such as physical activity, then sympathetic nervous system is activated, it leads to increased heart rate , increased contractility, so heart muscle can pump more blood and organism will have more energy.
Sympathetic system is activated during any stress, from caffeine, nicotine, obesity. If any of these factors persists for a long time, then there is prolonged activation of sympathetic system, so heart works with excessive force for a long time, which will lead to overtiredness of heart muscle. So there may be some complaints, such as palpitations, some chestpain. And is this condition lasts for years it may lead to atherosclerosis and heart attack after 40.
If eliminate those factors, then sympathetic activity decreases slowly and heart starts to regenerate.
