Question : While vacationing in Cancun I was bit by a bug several times. I had an immediate itchy reaction. The bites swelled up and then became crusty. I reported to the resort and they gave me toweletts . The next day I was very weak. The bites healed but now I experience muscle fatigue which seems to move around, and unexpected tiredness.
Brief Answer:
See a local doctor.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Such bugs do carry infections and bites can cause transmission.Ideal would be to see a local doctor sooner.
Mostly such infections are parasitic.
If you are back to home town, then you will need few blood investigations to determine whether you got any infection.
At the moment the tiredness is due to myalgias.Try drinking lots of water with electrolytes and take oral mild analgesics till you see doctor.
Hope this helps. Please ask if there are doubts.Regards
