I also experience nausea, what can it be im a little concerned?
Likely to be post prandial hypotension
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day
Dear Ms
From the description given , possibility of Anaemia needs to be considered . Following intake of meals there is relative hypovolumia (reduced circulating blood ) this occurs due to intestinal secretion and osmotic action of food. This causes relative hypotension and causing the symptoms of dizziness, headache and lethargy.
Associated Gastroesophageal also needs to be considered.
I would suggest you the following investigation in consultation with your Physician
1. Complete blood count
2. Fasting and post prandial blood sugar
3. Supine and standing blood pressure measurement
In the meantime I would advise you the following
1. Eat small quantity of meals frequently
2. Avoid carbonated / alcohol / caffeinated beverage
3. Drink plenty of Oral fluids : Ensure water intake of 2 to 3 liter a day
4. Include fruits in diet
5. Avoid sleeping pr walking after meals
6. Antacid and gastric motility increasing drug like Domperidone and Pantoprozole will be helpful to relieve nausea
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
Take care
Best regards
