Question : hi my wife is in her 7 months of pregnancy and she has a strong fever and cold now. she caught it suddenly. is it safe to give crocin to her.

Perfectly safe to take Crocin.

Detailed Answer:

Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Have you measured the temperature ?
If it is beyond 100 degrees Fahrenheit, yes give her an antipyretic.
A couple of tablets of Crocin are quite okay to be taken in the 7th month of pregnancy.
So yes, you can give her a tablet of Crocin right now, and repeat it after 6 hours if the fever is not controlled.
If it persists beyond 24 hours, inspite of Crocin, you should consult your obstetrician and go for tests to evaluate cause of fever.
If she has a cold, then symptomatic treatment can be taken
Diominic DCA is a tablet that contains paracetamol for fever control , as well as other compounds for relief of cold symptoms.
Let her take hot soup / broth.
Also, apply Vicks on the chest and take steam inhalation with eucalyptus oil.
You can take Vitamin C supplements ( 1 tablet of Limcee / Celin daily ) for 15 days to boost immunity.
