Brief Answer:
you need investigations.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX, thanks for your question on HCM. I want to ask few questions.
1. Are you smoker?
2. Are you having weight loss?

Based on your description, I have three possibilities:
1. Chronic Bronchitis
2. Tuberculosis
3. Pneumonia

I will urge you to see a physician or pulmonologist. You might need Chest x ray and sputum examination. If both of these are normal, Pulmonary function test(PFT) is entailed. If all the tests come normal, then it must be upper respiratory tract infection. And bleeding is due to friction from coughing.

In brief, you will need to be evaluated since some of the conditions associated with blood stained phlegm (sputum) are concerning.

Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
