Question : My 2 yr old had a fever off and on all day. Has one now about 101. Should I wake him to give him motrin? Have four kids but never dealt with flu symptoms before

do not ignore fever in children. consultation with pediatrician will be helpful . rule out the cause of fever.

He's on zithromax for follow up from a lingering cold. Fever started just today. Went away with motrin throughout the day. He drinks plenty of liquids. If a fever persists through tomorrow, wouldit be best for him to be seen again? Thank you.

You can continue zithromax and give PARACETAMOL syrup for fever. But as I told you before, do not ignore fever in children.
