Brief Answer:
Viral cause likely

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for posting on HealthCareMagic. Your child has probably caught a viral infection which is responsible for the runny nose and fever. Antibiotics are ineffective in such infections and it recovers in 5-7 days irrespective of the use of antibiotics. Since the vomiting is controlled, you need not worry. Bodyache may be present and probably that is the cause of the foot pain. Fever may rise high in such infections and need to be kept in control by the use of paracetamol. Combiflam can be used but Meftal P (contains mefenenamic acid) is a better alternative and more effective in reducing temperature and can be given if combiflam is not effective. It will also relieve the foot pain. Also add some antiallergic syrup like ascoril LS which will reduce the runny nose.

Brief Answer:
These two medicines are enough.

Detailed Answer:
Antivirals are usually not required in such cases. The two medicines Meftal P and Ascoril LS would be fine. You can give the child steam inhalation. Water in the form of steam will reach deep inside and help in diluting the cough. Just sit with the child on your lap and place a source of steam before you. The vapour would be in the air and automatically the child will take it in with its breathing.
