We stay in Bangaore XXXXXXX My brother has fever and heavy head since last 10 days.. Its not always but fluctuate around 99°F, once in a while it also reaches to 102°F mostly in eveving time. We consulted doctor and she suggested some blood test . Reports were -ve for dengue and typhoid also platelet, hemoglobin counts were perfect.. He was taking antibiotics suggested by doctor.
please suggest what to do now..

Hi, I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
Fever of 10 days or more duration requires evaluation of the cause. These days, however, it is not uncommon for viral fever to run for a longer duration.
Still the heaviness in his head may point out towards sinusitis, that might be causing the fever. I would recommend a X-RAY Para Nasal Sinuses for this purpose.
Now, the next possibility that we should keep is of Tuberculosis, reason being fever of long duration with evening rise in fever as you have mentioned. If he has any cough and expectoration, we would require to get his Chest X-ray done for the same.
Another common cause for such a long duration fever can be Urinary tract infection. Since you have not mentioned, that the test was performed or not, i would advice you to get his Urine examination too.
If all these reports are also normal, you just need to wait for 5 days more as the viral fever would not persist loner then 2 weeks.
Get these investigations and write back to me.
