Question : I have a fever, my muscles ache al lover, I am weak and have a hard time standing up and have fallen down a couple of times. what do I need to get well

Hi there,

I am Dr.Barani and I am pleased to assist you.

You have fever for 2 days with generalized body pain. The most likely cause is viral fever.
You are doing the right thing by drinking lot of water and bed rest.

For better relief, take Tylenol 4 times a day.
Do not skip your meals as adequate calories is also important.

You need to consult your doctor if you have any of the following -

1. Persistent fever above 102 degrees
2. If the fever persists for more than a week
3. If you become drowsy
4. If you develop any seizures

Otherwise you continue with the above measures.
