Question: I got infected tooth number 14 pulled out 5 days ago, on tuesday, october 25th. Since then, I have been dizzy everyday, and feeling like throwing up everyday. I have been having fever and chills. I still have the infection. My face is still swollen. I have migraine for the past 2 weeks, that won't stop. I still have it. My migraine meds are not working. I am sick yet again, and the dentist does not know why, and my doctor won't give me the time of day. very rude.

Brief Answer:
remnant tooth infection, medication, blood investigations

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.

The swelling can be because of the remnant infection. Nothing to be panic, you can take a course of antibiotics preferably a combination of amoxicillin and metronidazole (if you are not allergic). The dizziness is not because of the tooth infection. It can be secondary to migraine or vertigo. So consult a neurophysician and get it evaluated. Do not apply hot or cold things over the swelling, if you apply the swelling will not subside. Get a complete blood investigations done to rule out anemia and other infections. Till then you can take a course of antibiotics.

I hope I have answered your query. If you have any queries, reply me back.

Take care.
