Question : I was pressure cleaning our fence foe 5 hrs that had a lot of green and black mold. Not sure if that has any bearing but that night I got a fever, chills, hacking cough and headache. Been in bed and sleeping all day since sat. Feeling better but still slight fever and cough and very low energy

Brief Answer:
Pneumonia as a result of mold exposure is rare.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Based on your history I think you should do a physical examination by an ID specialist ,a pulmonary CT and full blood count, Protein C reactive, to exlude a pneumonia( fungal, viral or bacterial).
Furthermore , you should know that exposure to mold can lead to allergic reactions, asthma attacks and even pneumonia.
Although pneumonia as a result of mold exposure is rare, can also occur in people whose immune systems are weakened.

I hope my answer helps you.
Regards.
