Question : Hi. My 16 months old daughter had fever, followed by cold and cough. Though now no fever, Doc advised 5ml of Ambroxol syrup thrice a day. I'm just wondering if the amount of dose is right for such a young kid. Please advice.

I understand your concerns and would recommend you to reduce the dose. The dose of Syp. Ambroxol for 16 months old is 2.5 ml twice daily.

You may give her Syp. Zinconia (5 ml once daily) along with Syp. Bevon (2.5 no twice daily) for a week. This will help her recover faster and improve her immunity.
