I need more details about your symptoms
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
Can you describe your symptoms in detail? I need to know if you get sputum. If you get sputum, what colour is it? Did it also affect the sinuses? Do you get sneezing, eye itching? Do you get cough? How bad is it? Do you have chest congestion (wheezing)? Do you have difficulty breathing?
In the presence of fever, it is more likely that you have infection (not allergy/asthma). Thus steroidal preparations like betasol. Moreover most infections are viral in nature (suggested by clear sputum). Magenta and azifine-c are antibiotics and not needed. Bacterial infection is mostly suggested by greenish or yellowish thick sputum. Viral infections can usually cause bronchiolitis and bronchitis that may cause wheezing. Bronchitis and bronchiolitis can last longer than 7 days. And get better on their own.
Deriphylline is to be used in difficulty breathing.
If you do not have chest congestion, then you can see ENT specialist. If chest congestion is present please see an internal medicine specialist and get tested.
Hope it helps.
