Question : My daughter of 6 yr has fever since last night, last 4 days cough, severe leg pain since last night. Tell me the suggestive antibiotic with dosage. Her weight is 27 Kgs. I already medicated her with paracetamol and Levocetrizine. She vomits also at the time of coughing sometimes. Vomition is preceded by cough and never in solitary. Tell any other supplements also if required.

You need to get her examined to rule out other infections like pneumonia or viral fever.
I usually prescribe amoxicillin for 5 days.
Dose would be 250 mg twice daily.
Ensure she drinks plenty of liquids to keep her hydrated.
