Question : Hi, my sister woke up today with fever, body aches, headache, chills, and a lot of diarrhea, and also a dry cough. She also says she has lower back pain. She still has a fever right now.

The symptoms your sister is suffering are probably suggestive of viral syndrome.
She should get reviewed by a local Physician for possibility of flu or swine flu if she has recently visited a country in Asia.
She should take rest.
Meantime Decongestant and paracetamol combination will be helpful.
She should ensure nutritious diet and hydration.
It may spread to others so care in separate room is advised.
