Question : Are there any ways by which a fever stricken toddler can be relieved of/ soothed of pain and internal suffering (other than the medication) during viral fever? Any natural remedies or any home made solutions?

Hi...when you don't want medications, there are very few options.
1. You can try giving the toddler good amount of consumable fluids like water etc. Make sure this does not include carbonated beverages or excessive sugar. This water while coming out of the body will take out along with this the excess body heat generated by fever.
2. The other option is doing cold sponging. This is wiping whole body with water sodden cloth at room temperature.
3. Another's option is adding EU de cologne to the water used for cold sponging and doing it.
