Question : My 36 year old son has fever, sick to stomach, infected throat and swollen gland on left side.

                                    Brief Answer:
Let him continue with the flu medications!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have reviewed the information fully and the ongoing treatment. The infected throat and swollen glands are all in support of a flu infection. With flu medications already prescribed, there is no reason to panic. Follow through and administer the drugs as prescribed. Fevers will stop in about two days and most symptoms would regress significantly within 3days.
I will also like to switch aspirin to Tylenol: 1000mg thrice daily. I have lots of reservations as concerns aspirin.
Keep me updated with his progress. I hope this reassures and guides you. I wish your son well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.
