Question : Hi,

My mom was operated for fibroids few years back, now she could feel something hard in the stomach while she is sleeping towards right side. our doctor asked to get full abdominal scan. Please find the reports attached and let me know if there is something serious to be taken care of. should she get her uterus operation done?

I saw the reports.
There is a small Fibroid in the Uterus.Except for this finding, everything is not of much concern. It doesn't present as Lump which can be seen or palpated per abdomen.
If your mother has menstrual disturbance, her Uterus has to be removed.
Otherwise, Fibroid can be removed Laparoscopically.
