Fibromatosis is a local benign tumor which is aggressive in behavior and thus increases in size rapidly if not treated.
Since you have it on your hip where there are abundant muscle fibers and less number of blood vessels it is easy to excise it and remove completely at one sitting.
But its only treatment is surgery and if very widespread and normal margins are not obtained at the end of surgery then radiotherapy may be required post operatively.
It also has high recurrence rate if already very big in size before surgery.
Get it operated as soon as possible.
Medanta in XXXXXXX has very nice pathology team as far as XXXXXXX NCR region is concerned and thus the tissue after removal can be nicely evaluated.
