Suggest Treatment For Flatulence And Heartburn

Question: I am having some problems reading my stomach. sometimes after meal I m having gas and heart burn and my upper abdominal becomes hot. it stays sometimes then it goes. I went to see a doctor he gave me Pan D and Sucral file. after taking it its became a bit less. Do I need to maintain some some food routine or what should I do? its been a uneasy feeling for somedays...

Hi and welcome.
These symptoms indicate gastritis or GERD and in mosct cases, dietary changes and antiacid medicines are efficient. You need to avoid overeating, reduce alcohol, coffee and carbonated drinks intake. HAve smaller meals but more often. Also, avoid fried food and sweets. Increas milk products, boiled meat, vegetables,fish and natural carbohydrtaes. If there is no improvement after 4-6 weeks, it would be good to do gastroscopy to rule out hiatal hernia or stomach ulcer. Also, emotional stress, overweight and physical inactivity may worsen your symptoms.
