Question : I have been having a lot of gas, bloating and numerous small bowel movements. About 3 months ago I was diagnosed with C-diff and have been on treatment up until last week. Than all this started, could I still have C-diff ?

Hi and thank you for asking!

You are reporting to have had C . Difficile infection three months ago.

Also you have been on antiobiotic treatment during this time.

This is why I strongly suggest to do stool test for candida overgrowth.

It is the major side effect of antibiotic used for a long time.

Meantime I would recommend to :
- use plenty of water
- continue to use probiotics
- use simeticone to avoid bloating ang gas.

Discuss with your physician to start anti fungal treatment after stool test results.
