Brief Answer:
Sometimes it can happen to the patients with arterial hypertension

Detailed Answer:
Dear Mrs,

Blood pressure fluctuations sometimes can happen with patients with arterial hypertension.

For detailed answer I will need the blood pressure measurement chart of your uncle for the last week.
In case it is not available I will try to answer without it.

If he noticed that his blood pressure started to fluctuate after he give up playing tennis, I would advise him to continue to play tennis.
I would advise him to have healthy diet.
Check blood glucose, electrolyte, hemoglobin levels.
If majority of reading are high, he will need a mild anti hypertensive treatment. In this case his blood pressure will be under control.

Hope I could help you

Wishing a good health to your uncle
