Question: there is fluid in my left lungs.Taken out once but again it comes.I had Pneumonia recently and was in hospital. It was cured. Now my lung specialist wants biopsy to detact TB and cancer.I say TB can be identified by many other ways and if it is lung cancer I don't want to do any treatment because I am 85 and want to go peacefully without pains of any kind.Currently I have no temp,no coughing,no pain in chest. Why I should go for invesive biopsy procedure and subsiquent painful treatments?

Brief Answer:
Diagnosis

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking

First of all i won to say you that off course it's your decision to have or not any further diagnostic exploration and after that the treatment of choice

If for you to know the diagnosis it's not make the difference for further treatment than it's good for you to have your choice done ,but if you are in good performance and you won't some relief from your symptoms than you have to follow your doctor decisions

But i am sure that you. will make the right decision for you ,without been pressed

Kindly Dr Esmeralda
