Question: Hi, I have three children ages 9, 4 and 2 over the past 2 yrs, the 9 yr old has developed these symptoms, vomiting every few days to every few week, sometimes his cheeks swell, he also has reflux really bad, now the other 2 children are developing the same symptoms, is it something in our house, what we are eating? We have learned that the oldest does have multiple food allergies, thanks for any help.

Brief Answer:
food allergy

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.

From your description it looks like your younger kids might be suffering from food allergy.
Food allergies are partly genetic and hence this is possible.
I would advice you to get both the younger kids tested for food allergies by skin test or IgE specific Elisa.
You can try drinking cleanest water with minimal ppm to avoid recurrent infections.

Wishing good health.

Dr Arun
