Hi and thank you for asking.

You are reporting to have had trouble swallowing and the food gets stuck.

If I were your treating doctor I would recommend to get upper GI endoscopy done to better evaluate the esophagus(food pipe).

Meantime, I would suggest to use:

- plenty of water
- PPI like Prilosec OTC
- antacids like Gaviscon

If you have already done upper GI endoscopy I please let me know the results.
