Question : I am having a soft corn on right foot. I asked query regarding this few days ago and doctor asked me to treat this with DUOFILM solution two times a day. I am using this from almost 24 days. The first image I attached is condition before starting the treatment and second image (with white circles) is current state. From last 2 days I am feeling pain when wearing shoes (l cover the corn place with a medical tape after applying the medicine). What should I do? Should I keep using the solution or something else? I sometime can not avoid wearing shoes due to job. Please suggest
Brief Answer:
Stop Duofilm
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query and photograph.
The surrounding of corn is ulcerated.
Please stop using duofilm It will cause further ulceration.
Duofilm is helpful in corn but prolonged usage can cause ulceration.
Apply ointment Mupirocine twice daily for a week.
This will take care of ulcer.
After a week you can use Cotaryl cream daily in night.
This is mild and won't cause ulcers.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
