Question: Hello. I have been suffering from chronic hidradenitis suppurativa for a while now and recently I have had a foul smell coming from my armpits. I have open wounds under my arms that I keep clean and bandaged but the smell is embarrassing. is there a way to hide the odor?

Brief answer....given below
Detailed answer....
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
I know you must have tried your best to eliminate this odour but in vain.
I am going to tell you something which can be tried by you and see the result yourself.
Apart from all the other measures which are generally advised to patients like you,i would like you to try using dash of lemon or even some vodka on it.
You can even try using apple cider vinegar after diluting it.
I am sure and hopeful that you would be benefitted by this.
These measures are just to hide the bad odour and has no role in treating your condition.
You are most welcome to revert to me in case you require to ask anything further.
Best of luck
Thanks
