Question : I fractured my tibial plateau non displaced 6 1/2 weeks ago and I can walk on it with no pain is there any danger of displacing it or anything
Brief Answer:
Can start weight bearing
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear thanks for trusting health care magic
Yes you can start weight bearing on it but try walking slow and on leveled ground only without using stairs or pebbled paths.
Always keep a stick with you so as to facilitate the walking process in between.
Weight bearing usually promotes healing but still repeat xray after 10-14 days and get it evaluated by your doctor.
All the best.
