Question : Can i use Diof DS for a child of 6 years ( 27 kG) having frequent bowel movement accompanied by slight fever....

not required. give Ors and zinc

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Diarrhoea is usually viral.
Diof Ds is antibiotic with metronidazole.
Ors solution and zinc drops at 20 mg daily is enough.
If not settling or if stools increase or if blood is present in stools then you can give antibiotics.
Ensure she passes urine atleast 6 times a day.
