                                    Brief Answer:
It can be due to inflammation of frontal sinus.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can e due to inflammation of frontal sinus. Cold or sneezing is not a must symptom. You can have only pressure and pain feeling on sinus.
Nasal decongestant sprays like xylometazoline (otrivin) may give you relief. Better to have a consultation with ENT specialist to rule out this. You may also need to take Paranasal sinus X ray to find out the status of your sinus.
Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.

Allergic rhinitis can cause this.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.
Thank you for your follow up query.
Intermittent cold and sneezing symptoms can be due to allergic rhinitis. Avoid exposure to dusts. In such case taking combination of anti histamines like levocetirizine and mast cell stabilizers like monteleukast for for long term helps. I there is sinus congestion then nasal decongestants like xylometazoline (otrivin) nasal sprays will be helpful also. Taking chewable vitamin C is also good.
