Question : I am applying quadriderm cream for candida fungal infection which has caused my penis to reddish but no itching... Suggest me some medicines so that it may never appear again.. It is first time I have been infected..
Brief Answer:
Candidal balanoposthitis most probably
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
As you said most probably you may be having candidal balanoposthitis. You are applying quadriderm cream. Kindly avoid it to apply. As it contains steroid, which may be responsible for redness.
I would suggest ...
- clotrimazole or bifonazole cream to apply on affected part
- antifungal like itraconazole or ketoconazole for two weeks in proper dose
- Sitz bath in Dettol water
- keep the area dry
- avoid excessive bath
I hope this would help you..
Thanks.
