Brief Answer:
Recurrent of persistent yeast - causes and treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I am dr.kakkar(dermatologist). I have gone through your query and i have noted your concern.
Recurrent or persistent yeast infection of glans in males is commonly due to underlying conditions like diabetes or a prolonged antibiotic course. Another common cause of recurrent or persistent yeast infection is co-infection of sexual partner which leads to repeated infections through sexual intecourse.
I would suggest you to take an oral antifungal e.g fluconazole 150 mg tablet, 2 doses, 3 days apart.
Topically you may use an otc antifungal cream e.g clotrumazole 1% cream, twice daily.
Also get screened for blood sugar as well as treat partner too if there is a history of vulval itching and discharge.
Abstain from sex for a week.
