Brief Answer:
oral antifungals are also important

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com. I have read your query. I understand your concern.
For fungal infection, I prefer to advise oral antifungals like fluconazole / terbinafine / itraconazole to my patients. Only topical agents or powders are mot sufficient to combat the infection.
The dose and duration of the medications depend on the nody weight and age of the person.
You should visit your Dermatologist for clinical examination and prescription. You can share my opinion with him.
Till then, you may take antihistaminics like levocetrizine for symptomatic relief of itch.
Keep the area clean and dry.
I hope it helps. Take care.
