Brief Answer:
Fungal infection of the groin

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same .
The most common reason for itching in the groin region is the development of a fungal infection .
You should apply a topical antifungal cream like canestan or candid cream over the affected areas twice a day .
Do not apply any other cream or oil over it .
Wear cotton undergarments so as to decrease sweating .
Sweating in hot weather predisposes one to the development of such fungal infections in the groin.
In addition , you can take some oral antihistamine like levocetrizine once a day for the associated itching .
You should apply the medicine regularly for atleast two weeks so as to completely heal the infection .

Hope it answers your query
