Question : My husband just started noticing small patches on his chest and arms and the middle of his back that are itchy but are not discolored in any way. These just started showing up in the past couple of months.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. I would insist you to upload an image of the lesions you are describing. Based on the description it seems that he could be having a fungal infection. If that is the case, topical application of Candid (clotrimazole) lotion should help in its resolution. However, I would be able to comment better after checking the image(s).
