Question: Hi Doctor, Good Evening. This is XXXX from XXXXXXX I have raised my question on Skill Allergy and I was been recommended by you to use Micogel for 2 to 3 weeks which I did but still i have itching in the groin region There was some relief couple of days back but its still disturbing me with sever itching during nights even after applying ointment as due to sweat. Can you please help me in this regard. thank you

As I answered you earlier, I mentioned to you that fungal infection takes a long time to heal.

You mention that you have used Micogel for 2 to 3 weeks. Did you use the ointment without fail, and without missing a single time? I had told you to apply it twice daily - once in the morning and once in the night. Have you followed this religiously? I also mentioned to make sure that the ointment is present on the surface 24 hrs. Did you take care of this?

Inspite of these measures, if you still have not found much recovery, then it is better for you to take oral anti-fungal like Fluconazole. This is a prescription drug, and you have to consult a Dermatologist to get the same.
