Question : Hi, I noticed this small thing on edge my daughter's right nostril. She is 7 years old. She said she has had it for a couple of months. She picked it once and it bled and healed. My wife thinks it resembles a wart.
Please advise.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Looks like furuncle

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to health care magic.
The description and the picture look like furuncle which is pretty common in that area because of unnoticed trauma to hair follicles in that area.
Don't worry.
Usually it settles by itself if not picked .
I would advice your child not to touch or pick it.
If it enlarges it becomes painful, you can try local antiseptics like fusidic acid.
Wishing your child good health
