Question: after USG a gall stone was detected with a size of 2*2.5 cm. This is asymptomatic till now. No acute pain. Does this requires surgery. In case surgery is donw then preferably laproscopic surgery

Hello

Findings suggests presence of large calculus in gall bladder.Though it is asymptomatic,this condition need operation.
It is because gall bladder calculus is prone to infection and obstruction.It may also cause cancer in long term.
Definitive treatment is surgical removal of gall bladder(cholecystectomy).
Now days,Operation is done by laproscopic method.Recovery is very fast and patient require less days of admission in hospital.
