Question : Dear Doctor ,
I did ultrasound and i found a few GB polyps up to 6 cm , Could please let me know what the nature of that polyps ?? and it is need surgery at the mean time ??? and what the chance to be malignant ??? pls find the attachments

Hi

Thanks for writing in

I have seen your report the polyps are up to 6mm that is less than a centimeter

Most polyps of this size are benign, but with the advances in Laparoscopic surgery and specifically for gall bladder, patients prefer getting gall bladders with Polyp removed, as the incidence increase with size crossing half an inch

The surgery is safe and removal of gall bladder does not have any major side effect on the body
