Suggest Treatment For Gas Problem Along With Bloating And Adhesions In Abdomen

Question: I went to the Emergency Rm at the hospital one day early in the week because I was in so much pain, had CT scan and Xrays...no blockage per se, just lots of adhesions and gas and bloating. Was perscribed Dicylomine and Maalox which helped. I'm also taking MinoLAX powder laxative every night to stay cleaned out. Eating smaller meals several times a day, less dairy products, less bananas, lots of water, etc. Have improved 90-95%. Still gas, occasional pain, watery bowel movements. Any suggestions or comments???? Thanks.

I have gone through your question and I understood your problem.

You are on a right track you started avoiding dairy products and bananas, also you are having frequent meals which is certainly going to help you.

Apart from these I want you to follow few more instructions like-
Add ginger,peppermint,cinnamon to your diet it will help reduce your gas problem.
You should have increased intake of pro-biotics which are present in buttermilk,kimchi,pickles etc
You should also avoid foods like cabbage,cauliflower XXXXXXX etc which are known to cause heavy gas production.
I will further advice you to undergo regular exercise

I prefer a laxative syrup like duphalac over powder form of laxatives as it has given me very nice effect.
