Question : I had the gas pains for the last three day . i have taken gas medicine and does not work It hurts in the rib area and work to my back.

I have gone through your query. An ECG should be taken to rule out any cardiac cause of pain to be on safe side. More potent agent like proton pump inhibitors (esomeprazole) will be helpful in your case. Combination of motility agents like domperidone along with this will be more helpful.
If that is not helping then a consultation with gastroenterologist should be done. Fibrogastroduodenoscopy will be done in such case to rule out any possibility of ulcers.
